The Medical-Surgical Nursing Laboratory is a clinical nursing laboratory that prepares students to care for all body system disorders of adult clients before entering the practice field. Surgical Medical Nursing is a comprehensive bio-psycho-socio-spiritual service aimed at adults with or who tend to experience physiological disorders with or without structural disorders due to trauma both chronic and acute in all human body systems.
The competencies learned in the surgical medical nursing laboratory are the competencies of KMB 1 and KMB 2, namely ECG measurement and interpretation, suction & nebulaizer, WSD wound care, colostomy, tracheostomy, craniostomy and gangrene, BGA, CVP measurement and interpretation, IOP examination, fluid therapy through infusion pump & syringe pump, skin traction installation....
